Volunteer – Donate Your Time & Talent

The Salvation Army has a place for you! Volunteering is one of the most enjoyable things you’ll ever do, as well as one of the most fulfilling.

Volunteer Opportunities include but are not limited to:

  • Helping out with events like the Christmas Campaign
  • Assisting with Youth Sports programs
  • Mentoring students in K.R.O.C. Kids, Camp Mihaska, and Camp Saukenauk
  • Serve on The Kroc’s Advisory Board and Committees
  • Emergency Disaster Services
  • Playing and teaching music
  • Bell ringing
  • Sorting donations at the food pantry or Family Store
  • Data entry and more!

Salvation Army and Kroc Center volunteers are held to the same standards as employees including application, background checks, Safe From Harm child protection training, and orientation.

The Kroc Center relies on more than its paid staff to meet the mission of Joan Kroc. Mrs. Kroc was clear in her intent: The Kroc Centers were to be places where children can learn from one another, individuals can seek personal growth and development, and a place for the community to gather in leisure and fellowship in an environment that embraces the love and acceptance that Jesus Christ teaches us. As a volunteer, you can help us make that dream a reality!
