Healthy Aging Monthly Seminars
Join us at The Kroc Center for monthly Healthy Aging Seminars. These monthly enrichment programs are free-to-attend and are open to anyone, of any age, in the community. Individuals who attend must comply with all RJKCCC user polices and procedures.

Senior Adult Health Fair
Tuesday, October 17 | 9am-Noon
The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, along with State Senator Jil Tracy and State Representative Randy Frese, will host a Senior Adult Health Fair. This event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is not required.
The health fair will feature local vendor booths including medical professionals, the Quincy Senior Center, estate and funeral planning, and much more! Attendees will also have an opportunity to talk with elected officials Jil Tracy and Randy Frese. Full list of vendors is TBA.

FREE! Fit & Strong Healthy Aging Series
Fall 2023 session starts in September.
Fit & Strong is an evidence based, multiple component exercise program for the healthy aging population. With a focus on decreasing lower body stiffness & pain, and increasing lower body strength, aerobic capacity & caloric expenditure. The goal of the 12-week program is to improve overall health & promote participation in future exercise programs and building confidence to do so.
Fit & Strong Healthy Aging Program is free to members and non-members thanks to a grant from the Illinois Dept on Aging and is co-sponsored with the West Central Illinois Agency on Aging.

This rewarding and free senior program has been created to encourage our #SeniorKrocStars to take full advantage of their Kroc Center memberships! Each month we will be drawing names – of those who qualify – for gift cards to local businesses!

ADDITIONAL RULES
Direct relations of The Salvation Army staff in Quincy, IL are not eligible to win prizes. Prizes must be picked up in-person within 30 calendar days of being notified. Prizes will not be mailed. Prizes not claimed within 30 days will be considered forfeited and will not be reassigned to other participants or re-awarded for participants within that month. Prize winners will need to sign a form stating they in fact received the card, so we can track that all cards were properly given out for our auditing purposes. Participants must agree to have their picture/likeness recorded and used for promotional purposes as determined by The Salvation Army. All rules, processes, and considerations will be directed by The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Center in Quincy, IL.
To qualify for entries into drawings, check-in and workout for at least 30 minutes.
For every five (5) check-ins/workouts, your name will be entered to win monthly prizes. Members will only be counted once per day.

The more times you workout at The Kroc Center – the more chances you have to win prizes offered for the month.
Members will only be counted once per day. Participants who purposefully attempt to circumvent these rules may be disqualified.
Prizes will be awarded monthly.

Silver Sneakers® Benefits & Eligibility
The Healthways SilverSneakers® Fitness program is an insurance benefit included in more than 65 Medicare health plans. Through these programs, health plans and group retirement plans provide a gym membership to their insured, usually at no additional cost. Eligibility is determined by the individual’s health plan. Check your eligibility at SilverSneakers.com or ask a desk attendant at The Kroc Center. Other insurance-based memberships may be available.
The SilverSneakers® benefit offered by The Kroc Center is equivalent to a Golden Ager Silver level membership. Additional benefits through other levels of SilverSneaker® participation may not be offered by The Kroc Center. Gold level membership is not offered as a benefit of SilverSneakers at The Kroc Center; however, you can have access to all group fitness classes for an additional fee.
Renew Active® Benefits & Eligibility
Renew Active is a Medicare fitness program for body and mind which includes a free gym membership access to our nationwide network — the largest of all Medicare fitness programs and Renew Active also provides an annual personalized fitness plan and access to select group classes.
Renew Active also offers thousands of digital on-demand workout videos and live-streaming fitness classes. An online brain health program from AARP® Staying Sharp®. And more! Begin your journey towards fit and strong healthy aging by taking advantage of all the Renew Active perks!
Renew Active is available at no additional cost, to those who are eligible, exclusively from UnitedHealthcare® Medicare Plans.
The Renew Active benefit offered by The Kroc Center is equivalent to a Golden Ager Silver Level membership. Additional benefits offered through Renew Active may not be offered by The Kroc Center. Gold level membership is not offered as a benefit of Renew Active at The Kroc Center; however, you can have access to all group fitness classes for an additional fee.
