Kristin’s Bio

Fitness became an integral part of Kristin’s life during her 2nd year of undergrad at Western Illinois University when it became an outlet for stress and led to a decision to switch majors to Exercise Science where she went on to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in 2011 and returned to earn her Master’s in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology in 2013.  As a student at WIU she started both her personal training and group fitness careers.

Kristin’s decade plus experience in personal training and group fitness have led to her Fitness philosophy evolving over time to now focusing on exercise as medicine (physically, mentally and emotionally).  She believes in using personalized training programs to help clients reach whatever goals they may set while always implementing cardiovascular, strength, endurance, flexibility and balance training to help enhance body composition and overall wellness.  Her number one goal as a trainer is to create a safe, effective, and fun program/atmosphere for clients to experience.
