Make It + Take It Workshops
Wildflowers & Barley Hat Burning
Saturday, March 14 | 1-4pm
Unleash your creativity at the Kroc Center’s DIY Hat Burning Workshop! With guidance from Katelyn and Grace of Wildflowers and Barley, you’ll design and burn your own custom hat using over 300 stencils—or go completely freehand. Your ticket includes a hat of your choice, use of wood-burning tools and trims, and supports Kroc Center community programs. Extra embellishments like charms, feathers, and WildClips will be available for purchase. Perfect for a girls’ day out, date night, or solo creative adventure—come ready to design, burn, and be inspired!
Ages 16+ to be able to burn.
Under 16 can design, an adult will have to burn.
Needle Punching Class
Saturday, March 21 | 10am-Noon
$45 per person
In this beginner-friendly class, participants will learn the basics of using a punch needle, selecting yarn and fabric, and creating textured designs. By the end of the session, you’ll complete your own small needle-punched piece to take home. All supplies are included, just bring your creativity! Open to ages 8+ with adult. Held in partnership with One Knotty Maker.
